Built by the Lusignan King Janus (the last of Cyprus’ crusader kings) in 1421, this unassuming little church contains a wall painting of the king with his wife, Charlotte de Bourbon, on one of its walls. Other paintings include The Raising of Lazarus, The Washing of Christ’s Feet and The Ascension. Inscription on the paintings are in French, as that was the offical language of Lusignan Cyprus.The church was restored in 1977.
