Opened in 1996, Water World Water Park boasts over 1 million visitors to date. Poseidon’s Wavepool is at the centre of the park, with a wave-generating system creating 1 metre high swells. Based on an ancient Greek Mythology theme, the 18 different rides offer varying levels of excitement for all the family, from the 124 metre raft ride of Apollo’s Plunge to the hair-raising 75 metre vertical drop of Zeus Zenith. Or try the Lazy River Odyssey,for those who prefer a more relaxing ride! Water World Water Park has six different places to eat, a "dry" play area for children and changing facilities with showers and lockers.
